You Say You Never Finish Anything You Start? Lose Your Keys, Glasses, and the Remote All the Time? You Think ‘Disorganized’ is an Adjective That Fits?

Then please read on, to learn a little about the adult form of ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).
I have to say I really admire newscasters, and such folks as the NASCAR announcers. I know how my brain works, and what things will make it impossible to think. If I had to wear something on my ear that had voices coming from it, interrupting me as I spoke and updating me and informing me of news I must share with my audience, I would stutter, stammer, and be fired the first day. I am NOT a multi-tasker, and my mind works on a ‘First Come, First Served’ basis.

Nov 7, 06:50 AMThanks NascarOkie. I believe I have a pretty severe case of ADD, and that this disorder has definitely had an impact on my life. I have had to learn how to do things to ‘get around’ it, and while I continue to try to do better, sometimes the ADD wins. ;) If this helped one person to re-think their thinking of themselves, or someone they love, then I consider it a pleasure to have done it. If it causes someone to actually educate themselves about ADD, or seek treatment, then I consider this a rousing success. :)
