This past summer, Joshua agreed to speak at the National Autism Conference in Pittsburgh. Two of his diagnoses fall under the ‘autism umbrella of disorders’: PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder), and Asperger’s Disorder.

He has spoken publicly before, and looks forward to each presentation. He worked on his speech for a few days, and made sure he included the wonderful opportunities and events that have occurred in his life since entering the world of NASCAR.

He mentioned that he’d interviewed Mike Joy, Fox Sports announcer. And that so many good things have happened in his life since his discovery of NASCAR.

In attendance in the audience was Artie Kempner, Director of Fox Sports. He has a son with autism, and has been heavily involved with the National Autism Society, and in autism awareness.
