How do you think you would do at picking the winners of NASCAR races by threes? For a lineup of 43 drivers, that would be positions 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 42, and 43 (no, 43 is not a multiple of 3, but we always count last place anyway).

Over at the cawsnjaws forum at Frontstretch.com, we run racing games through the racing season. We run two segments a season: the first beginning with the Daytona 500; and the second, starting with the Pepsi 400.

If you pick any of those positions correctly, you get one point. We spice things up a bit by adding in that if you pick the third position correctly, you get three points; and if you get the 33rd position correctly, you will get six points. We have also added in a new way for an additional point, by correctly picking the pole winner for the races.

We do the three NASCAR racing series (Nextel Cup, Busch, and Craftsman Trucks), as well as ASA and ARCA.

At the end of the game, whomever has the most points wins a gift package from JAW and CAW.
