Read His Interviews Now, So You Can Say You Did

What would you say if I were to tell you that a 15 1/2 yr old boy from the Pittsburgh area has discovered he has a talent for interviewing people? And that he has been written about in local papers? And that he will be the special guest of Artie Kempner, Director of Fox Sports, at the spring Bristol race in '04, as well as the Daytona 500 race in '05?

Would you be impressed? If not, then how about knowing some of the personalities he has already interviewed?

How about a jackman from the Winston West team of Gene Woods? Straight from the jackman's mouth, colorful and educational answers about his life, as well as some of his thoughts about racing matters?

No? What about Jenni Thompson? She's a well-known columnist from Frontstretch, that made 'Top Ten' lists famous. Her articles are incisive, interesting, and always touches a cord with any racing fan. She'll be famous some day. In this family's book she is already.

Need more? Well, how about a NASCAR fan from Colorado, Erin, who seems to have psychic powers when it comes to picking the right drivers for games like our current 'Crazy Eights' game at the cawsnjaws message board?

Still not impressed? Well. There's an interview of another columnist and editor of Frontstretch, Dennis Michelsen, who was a guest on Bill O'Reilly's show on Fox News. He was the one that blew the lid off of the Jesse Jackson/Rainbow Push/NASCAR debacle.

Josh interviewed the FS webmaster, Ren Jonsin, who is also a master of racing statistics, and occasional writer himself. Want to learn how to count to ten in Thai? See the things you could be missing by not tuning in to these interviews!

If none of that intrigues you, then you are not easily impressed. Well then, what about Steven deSouza, VP of Busch Operations for Joe Gibbs Racing, as well as an ex-speedboat racing champion, who has won many awards and set many records?

Last but certainly not least, what about Mike Joy? That's right! The Fox NASCAR announcer, that shares the stage with Darrell Waltrip and Larry MacReynolds on Sundays for half of the NASCAR season, as well as such shows as 'Trackside' every week.

If you aren't interested now, then you're either not a NASCAR fan, or you are completely unable to be pleased or excited about anything. The heck with ya then.

But! If I you are now chomping at the bit to read these interviews, please click on the links on this page.

There are more articles coming! Please read him now, so you can say you were a fan when he was just starting out.

Oh, and if you have any suggestions, please post them, email us, or contact us over at the cawsnjaws message board at Frontstretch.com.

I have read all of Joshua Walker's interviews and recommend them to all! He gives great interviews and has a very bright future. Wow, to be the special guest of Artie Kempner, at the spring Bristol race in '04, as well as the Daytona 500 race in '05. Way to go Josh!

This is JAW (Josh). It's nice to have something nice on here to read on Monday morning. Thank you very much. I hope to do lots more interviews. Maybe you would like to be interviewed?

lol, interview me? Well, perhaps would consider it at a later date. I'm afraid I'd make a very boring subject although with your skills, Josh, you could probably make even me sound interesting :) The article asks for comments or suggestions? Well, I'd like to direct mine towards the Frontstretch Forum. As a newcomer to FS, I love reading your interviews with some of the "long-time" regulars. Would love to see an overview article on some of the FS regulars that have been with the board since its' conception. I have perused some of the older threads but awk! it would take hours to read them all. Perhaps a few direct quotes on why they first joined, why they have stayed, has it taken the direction they thought or hoped it would, etc.
Keep up the good work, Josh.
